Great advice. My wife and I met when we were 21 and 22, married a year later, and started having chidren soon thereafter so I'm not sure we ever had "our twenties." But consistent with the studies, we'd both say we're happier now at 63 and 64 than we've ever been.

I'm a 57 year old man and this is exactly right. When you get older, you *do* need to start paying a bit of attention to things like stretching, diet, and regular exercise to stay functional, but that's the only downside and it's no big deal (you'll learn to like it, I promise). The rest of aging is *amazing*. You've read more, you know more, you're wiser, you have much better executive function and maturity, and you probably have a lot more money.... my 20s sucked, for exactly the reasons described here. (maybe youth is better if you're already rich, I couldn't say).
